英特爾創辦人安迪葛洛夫辭世，享年79歲

英特爾公告創辦人Andrew S. Grove 逝世，享年79歲。

Grove 生於1936年，在1968年與 Robert Noyce與Gordon Moore一起創辦了英特爾，他在1979年擔任英特爾公司總裁，1987年兼任英特爾公司執行長職務，1997年到2005年擔任英特爾董事長，對半導體及科技產業帶來深遠的影響。

英特爾現任執行長Brian Krzanich表示，我們對於Andy Grove 的逝世深感悲傷，他是位了不起的企業及世代的領導者，多次完成許多不可能的事情。

Grove 創辦英特爾後，扮演重要的角色，促使英特爾從記憶體轉型發展處理器業務，並且將英特爾從半導體供應元件商，成功發展為消費品牌。在他帶領下，英特爾歷經386、Pentium等PC處理器年代，公司年營收從19億美元成長到超過260億美元。
