微軟終止多款Forefront企業安全軟體

微軟周三（9/12）宣佈一系列安全產品策略的調整，包括終止Forefront多款企業安全產品。

微軟伺服器及雲端平台團隊表示表示，為了使微軟安全與防護解決方案與實際任務更加貼近，因此調整ForeFront多項安全產品的藍圖。其中，針對郵件伺服器Exchange Server、企業協同入口網站平台SharePoint、企業通訊平台Communication Server專用的線上訂閱式安全產品Forefront Protection 2010 for Exchange Server (FPE)、for SharePoint (FPSP)、 Forefront Security for Office Communications Server (FSOCS)），以及Forefront Threat Management Gateway Web Protection Services (TMG WPS)將自2012年12月1日起不再銷售。

而以永久性授權提供的閘道安全軟體Forefront Threat Management Gateway 2010 (TMG)也在此波終結名單內。

微軟表示，雖然不再銷售這些產品，但仍會提供客戶支援。現有客戶支援可到2015年12月31日。如果客戶合約在此之前到期，則無法更新合約。而Forefront TMG主流支援將在2015年4月14日終止，延伸支援則到2020年4月14日。

微軟其他產品調整包括下一代Forefront Online Protection for Exchange將改名為Exchange Online Protection。而Exchange Server也加入基本安全防毒功能。不過微軟表示，使用者可以將之關閉、移除或和其他服務（如Exchange Online Protection）共用。此外，SharePoint、Lync Server也內建安全軟體。Windows Server 2012中的DirectAccess 及Routing and Remote Access Server VPN也都提供了安全防護功能。伺服器產品內建了安全功能，或許是微軟終止上述服務的原因之一。

不過微軟提醒，網頁身份安全驗證Forefront Identity Manager及整合型安全閘道產品Forefront Unified Access Gateway的銷售與支援則一切照常。Forefront Identity Manager 2010 R2於2012年6月起供應，Unified Access Gateway 2010 SP2則已於8月推出。（編譯/林妍溱）
